Tell us what you think

The future of work

The skills system needs to change. In a rapidly evolving political, social and environmental climate the type and nature of work will undoubtably change. The Yorkshire & Humber Climate Commission recognises that coordinated action needs to be taken to understand the the kind of skills that will be needed in the future, how better to support people navigating work and what changes need to be made.

We want to hear from you

As part of our ongoing work, we want to hear from you about your thoughts on the skills sector. Whether you work directly with young people, at a local authority, a university or any relevant sector we want to hear from you.

We want to arrange one-to-one conversations to talk about:

  • What skills do people in your place, sector, or community need for the future—and what’s getting in the way?
  • How does the skills system need to change to better support people navigating work, learning, and life transitions?
  • If we could change just one thing to unlock progress in Yorkshire & the Humber, what would it be?
