In 2022 we launched our first public survey on Commonplace, exploring what we could do in Yorkshire and the Humber to address the climate and nature crises.
Twenty surveys later and we’ve had more than 1,500 contributions, which are helping us shape our priorities as a Commission.
Through this process, your feedback has helped to shape our priorities and activities, and to identify where we as a Commission should be focusing our efforts to drive real change where it’s needed.

The survey results were also vital for sense checking recommendations for the region to drive action on rapid emissions reduction, climate adaptation and resilience, nature restoration, and a just transition.
Read about them in our updated regional Climate Action Plan, published September 2024.
