The Yorkshire and Humber Climate Commission is supported by a small Secretariat, based at the University of Leeds, and overseen by the Director of the Commission.

Amelia Duncan (Policy Fellow)

Amelia Duncan is a Policy Fellow at the University of Leeds and supports both the Yorkshire and Humber Climate Commission and the Leeds Climate Commission. Her research assesses the pathways by which a given locality can get to net-zero emissions.

Professor Andy Gouldson (Director)

Andy Gouldson is Professor of Environmental Policy at the University of Leeds and Director of the Yorkshire and Humber Climate Commission. He is responsible for overseeing the Secretariat and ensuring the effective running of the Commission.

Margo Hanson (Secretariat Co-ordinator)

Margo Hanson is Research Manager: Energy, Climate Change and Sustainability at the University of Leeds. She helps to keep the wheels of the Yorkshire and Humber Climate Commisson turning as Secretariat Co-ordinator.

Rachel Harcourt (Research Fellow)

Rachel Harcourt is a Research Fellow in Climate Change Adaptation at the University of Leeds. She provides academic support to the Yorkshire and Humber Climate Commission's climate resilience working group.

Kate Lock (Policy and Communications Officer)

Kate Lock is Policy and Communications Officer at the University of Leeds for the Place-Based Climate Action Network (PCAN). She provides communications and engagement support for the Yorkshire and Humber Climate Commission.

Simon Moore (Communications Officer)

Simon Moore is Communications Officer at the University of Leeds for the Place-Based Climate Action Network (PCAN). He supports on communications and events for the Yorkshire and Humber Climate Commission.
