The Yorkshire & Humber Climate Action Pledge is a simple commitment to acting on climate and nature – whether you are already taking steps to be greener or right at the start of a learning journey.

By signing, you will commit to taking action that:

• puts you on the road towards net zero
• boosts nature, enhancing our region’s fantastic natural assets
• promotes taking climate action in a fair way that involves everyone

Signing the pledge is simple. You just need to commit to taking action on these four goals and let us know where you are on your journey. We will direct you to useful resources, invite you to future events and networking, and ask you about your progress.

Why sign?

The impacts of the climate and ecological emergencies are already being felt in our region. Extreme weather like flooding and heatwaves has damaged premises and hit productivity – and will do so with increasing frequency and intensity in the years to come – so every business in Yorkshire needs to get climate ready.
